CIM announces newest member of conducting team

The Cleveland Institute of Music, a jewel in Cleveland’s cultural crown and one of the world’s most prestigious conservatories, announces that Cleveland icon, personal injury attorney Tim Misny, will join the CIM conducting team, where he vows to inspire elite young musicians and “make them play.”  

After years of looking over Cleveland from billboards around the region, the newly minted Maestro will now look down from the conductor’s podium.  

First up, on April 1: Maestro Misny leads the CIM Orchestra in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. Next season, he will tackle Wagner’s complete Ring Cycle.  

Looking ahead to the 2026-27 season, Maestro Misny will lead the CIM Orchestra, as well as orchestras around the globe, in premiere performances of his Symphony No. 1, You Know What I Do, and Symphony No. 2, I’ll Make Them Play.
