Introduction

Valerie D. Robinson serves as a strategic partner to CIM’s Executive Offices, supporting 
institutional planning and operations while coordinating the work of the Board of Trustees 
and its committees. She advances cross-functional initiatives and helps ensure effective 
communication and collaborations across the institution. In addition, she provides 
leadership on key projects that strengthen CIM’s ability to fulfill its mission.
 

Most recently, Valerie served at Case Western Reserve University’s Jack, Joseph and 
Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, where she was a trusted advisor to the 
dean. In that role, she led efforts in faculty affairs, governance strategy, accreditation 
reporting, executive transitions, and institutional operations.
