Chamber Music Tour: Join Us in Illinois

Cleveland Institute of Music chamber music faculty and students will be traveling to Evanston, Illinois, on Friday, October 29! Join us at Nichols Concert Hall for a chamber music master class, career panel discussion and chamber music concert.

Chamber Music Master Class | 4pm CDT

CIM chamber music faculty Philip Setzer and Si-Yan Darren Li will work with student chamber ensembles.

Career Panel Discussion | 5pm CDT

CIM Interim Director of Admission Rachel Kunce will lead a panel discussion with CIM students about pursuing a career in classical music.

Chamber Music Concert | 6pm CDT

Hear CIM's Elless Quartet - comprised of violinists Megan Lin and Emera Gurath, violist Marcus Stevenson and cellist Cecelia Swanson - perform the music of Haydn, Janáček, Mendelssohn and Montgomery. Formed in 2019 at CIM, the Elless Quartet recently won the grand prize at the 7th Annual Coltman Chamber Music Competition.
